I've been told this pic is too
heavy.. well cancer is heavy. Its not a light flowery
subject we can sugar coat. I'm not always gonna be in a
photo smiling with a skateboard in my hand. I lost my
mother to cancer and I've made a point in my travels to
raise awareness on cancer. Whether it be with Athletes
for Hope or the St.Baldrick's foundation or having a
simple photo taken with my mothers portrait in hand. This
subject affects us all. Simple gestures can mean the
world to someone going through treatment or perhaps has a
family member or friend that needs support of any kind.
Not only fund raising but moral support, hugs,
conversations, smiles. Whatever it takes to help. We are
all in this together - Doug Brown
